Head football coach Billy Dawson gave his letter of resignation to Fayetteville Director of Athletics Steve Janski this week which announced he will be leaving his position as head coach and going into private business.  Dawson’s last day will be April 30.

Dawson was the head coach for the 2018 and 2019 seasons. He had a 16-8 record over his time at FHS.

“We are thankful to Coach Dawson for his leadership with the Bulldog football team and his commitment to his players and their families,” said Janski in a news release. “and we wish him well in his new endeavor.”

The search for a new head coach is underway.
