Behind the scenes of the DECA Fashion Show

This year marks the 17th annual DECA Fashion Show. On Thursday the 21 of February, DECA advisor Mr. Whitaker, Mrs. Whitaker, and a few sophomores and juniors spent the school day setting up the Preforming Arts Center for the show. With the help of local businesses the fashion show was supplied with dresses, tuxedos, flowers, auction items, and a setting on the stage. The purpose of the show was to raise money to send 3 students to the national DECA competition in Orlando, Florida. Forty seniors volunteered their time, from 1:00 pm to 8:00, to be models for the show. All of the seniors are either in DECA or they are in Mr. Whitaker’s business related classes.
