Pi(e) Day

Alice Cai, Editor

Wednesday, March 14th is Pi Day!!! Buy pie, eat pie, and learn about Pi all day!

Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter “”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159.

We will be celebrating this mathematical holiday at Fayetteville High School by selling slices of pie ($1) all day in Rooms 1902, 3414, and 2103. Thank you for supporting Mu Alpha Theta and our trip to Nationals this summer.
