A new trampoline park opened up in Fayetteville on February 10th named Altitude. It is one of two trampoline parks in NWA. Altitude has many other parks opened up all over the US.

At Altitude, there are many activities to try. They have gymnastic tumble tracks, trampoline basketball, and dodgeball, a foam pit, performance trampolines, and a trapeze. There is also a kids corner with some kid trampolines, a balance beam and a rock wall that are over a mini foam pit. The colors inside were purple, orange, black, and blue. To jump you have to wear jumping socks which are normal socks with rubber grips on the bottom so you don’t slip and slide and fall on the trampolines.

One can also host a party or have group events there. Each birthday party that is held at Altitude includes 2 hours of party time, access to the whole park, bottled water for every jumper, Free Jump passes, plates, plasticware, and napkins, free Altitude t-shirts, reserved table, a personal party host, full-service for cleaning and setting up, and jumping socks. For large groups that are coming to jump the price per person to jump is lowered depending on the amount of time the group is staying to jump.

The night that I went to Altitude, I arrived at 6:30 pm. It wasn’t very crowded in the beginning. There were a couple families there jumping and many adults sitting in the party area. The cost of admission was $15 for one hour which was all the time I stayed for. It was fun jumping on all of the trampolines considering for at least the first half hour it wasnt crowded so my friends and I could jump around freely. There were many staff members watching and observing everyone jumping which I thought was smart because so many jumping at the same time and could potentially be dangerous.

“I liked it, for the most part, it was a little different than highrise because it is smaller and the rules were a lot stricter but I think that comes with any new business opening up. Overall highrise and altitude had pretty much the same things,” said Fayetteville High School student Katherine Killcrece

They could improve by letting all of the kids use the rock climbing wall which I noticed they were only letting some kids on the rock walls and balance beams then saying it was closed for the other kids. The price was a little expensive but I guess that’s just how it goes for trampoline parks. Highrise cost about the same.

Whether you like jumping on trampolines by yourself, with friends, or family, Altitude trampoline park has just the thing for you. For more information about party or group pricing, call (479) 249-9499. To get more information about Altitude or to buy a pass, visit their website.
